Did you know? 2012 marks the tenth anniversary of Explorer Scouts, both nationally and in Crouch Valley - and to celebrate, we have a whole host of events lined up. There hasn't been a better time to get involved! So, what are you waiting for? Find out how to join now!

Welcome to Crouch Valley!

Explorers are aged 14 to 18, and we are the fourth section on the Scout Movement. And here at Crouch Valley Explorers, we put youth involvement at the forefront of our entire programme - so we do what the Explorers want to do!

With five units spread right across the Rochford District - anyone can join in on the action! So what are you waiting for? Check out the website for more info!

Ever fancied helping out?

Being a Young Leader is an extremely rewarding experience! Not only are you helping deliver Scouting to the community, but you are learning skills that you can't pick up in the classroom.

Being a Young Leader can count towards the volunteering aspect of the Duke of Edinburgh and Chief Scouts Awards! It also looks great on your CV.

Scouts welcomes royal volunteer

It has been announced that Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, has become Scouting's newest volunteer. She joins over 40,000 female leaders, who currently give up their time to help out.

The Duchess will be helping with Beavers and Cubs near her homes in North Wales and London - and is expected to be getting hands on by running games, cooking and campfires.
