Being a Young Leader is an extremely rewarding experience! Not only are you helping deliver Scouting to the community, but you are learning skills that you can't pick up in the classroom. Scouts welcomes royal volunteer It has been announced that Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, has become Scouting's newest volunteer. She joins over 40,000 female leaders, who currently give up their time to help out. The Duchess will be helping with Beavers and Cubs near her homes in North Wales and London - and is expected to be getting hands on by running games, cooking and campfires.
